Quaint, clean and comfortable beachside home with gorgeous beach views and unbeatable access that is perfect for medium-sized families or two small families. Fort Morgan has always been a favorite of ours due to its distance from busy Gulf Shores, and this home now ranks high on our list. The home sits almost halfway between beach access for the rest of the neighborhood so the beach never felt crowded, which was amazing since it’s only a short, 100ft walk across a private boardwalk. Quick trips down to the beach to look for crabs, take pictures, or just watch the sunset are a breeze.
The home has been updated since pictures were taken, with updated tile flooring, master bedroom furniture, TV and refrigerator. Kitchen is well enough appointed for meals at home, which helped us tremendously with social distancing during COVID. Boardwalk is a huge convenience, but repair would also be my one suggestion for the homeowner. The weathered decking could use a refresh as the surface and popped nailheads are a bit rough on bare feet, but sandals easily work around it.
We’ll definitely be returning to this little gem!
